Job Title: General Manager

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape an exciting new venue from the ground up and be a key part of a fresh, creative brand that aims to deliver fun and creative hospitality and event experiences.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and a drive for success.

  • Lead daily operations across the bar, restaurant and beer garden
  • Deliver a warm, professional and effortlessly cool guest experience
  • Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing, motivated team
  • Drive financial performance, hitting both quantitative and qualitative KPIs
  • Partner with the kitchen, bar, events and marketing teams to deliver a cohesive guest journey
  • Work closely with the founder to shape culture, refine service, and evolve the venue over time

Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading daily operations across the bar, restaurant and beer garden
  2. Delivering a warm, professional and effortlessly cool guest experience
  3. Recruiting, developing and retaining a high-performing, motivated team
  4. Driving financial performance, hitting both quantitative and qualitative KPIs
  5. Partnership with the kitchen, bar, events and marketing teams to deliver a cohesive guest journey
  6. Working closely with the founder to shape culture, refine service, and evolve the venue over time
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience managing busy, well-regarded venues
  • A calm, confident operator who thrives in dynamic, high-energy environments
  • Skilled at balancing relaxed, approachable hospitality with tight operational control
  • Proven ability to design and implement effective training and operational systems
  • A positive and inspiring leader who knows when to delegate and when to dive in
