Job Title: Director of Venue Operations

This role is accountable for leading internal sales and operations teams to drive revenue growth and manage key partnerships in the venue industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead dynamic internal sales and operations teams to grow and optimise revenue
  • Manage key commercial partnerships and contracts
  • Ensure compliance with operating procedures and deliver market-leading visitor experiences
  • Negotiate and manage high-value contracts with key partners, stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Develop strategic plans, access multiple competing options, and formulate business strategies and budgets
  • Demonstrate leadership and people management experience, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Requirements:

  • Senior-level management experience in commercial businesses or venue operations
  • Extensive event sales and operations knowledge and experience with large-scale complex venues
  • High-level conceptual and analytical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven leadership and people management experience
