SalaryWe offer above award hourly rates, providing a competitive salary for our Home Care Workers. Salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 + $2,650 annually are also available, as well as annual leave loading.
Job DescriptionAs a Home Care Worker, you will provide direct care and domestic assistance duties, as well as social support and transport as required for clients. These roles involve supporting clients in Brimbank, Maribyrnong and surrounding communities.
- Ensure client's rights, cultural, spiritual and other individual needs are incorporated in all aspects of care and daily living.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team, providing effective support to clients, recognising changes in clients' conditions and escalating observations and concerns in accordance with Uniting AgeWell processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certificate III/IV or equivalent in Individual Support (Aged or Disability) or equivalent (or currently studying a Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing).
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Current and valid Victorian Driver's Licence.
- Experience in a home care setting or providing domestics support is desirable.
