About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse Level 3, you will be an integral part of our team, providing person-centred care to residents with complex needs. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing skills, providing leadership and support to Enrolled Nurses and Extended Care Assistants, and promoting a harmonious team approach.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing skills to residents and support their families, with consideration for cultural, spiritual and individual needs
  • Provide leadership, support, orientation and education to Enrolled Nurses and Extended Care Assistants
  • Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Div 1
  • Experienced as a registered nurse with strong clinical skills in acute care settings, willing to make a change
  • Experience with dementia care and palliative care support
  • Proficiency in decision making, critical analysis and on-the-spot problem solving
  • Demonstrated abilities to delegate and prioritise in a fast-paced environment with exemplary communication skills in a team and one-on-one interactions

Essential Requirements:

  • A current Working With Children Check card
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a national police clearance, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
