About the Job

Maintaining Green Spaces Across South-East Queensland

We are seeking a skilled Machinery Operator to maintain and enhance green spaces across our council-controlled roadsides and open spaces throughout south-east Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Complete service requests as required
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in tractor operation
  • A valid Manual HR Drivers Licence
  • A White Card
  • The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • The willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
