As a data and automation leader, you will play a crucial role in driving Defence Bank's strategy forward by developing and implementing innovative data governance and AI capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, experience in leading complex data functions, and a proven track record of delivering results in highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing Defence Bank's data governance framework to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data
  • Overseeing the development of AI strategies to enable smarter automation and more impactful decision-making across the organisation
  • Establishing dedicated Data Governance and AI functions to support Defence Bank's service delivery, staff support, and efficiency objectives
  • Delivering services and advice on all data and AI-related matters to ensure high-quality, innovative, strategic, and operational initiatives are introduced to enhance Defence Bank's ability to achieve its strategic outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer or data science and advanced qualifications such as a master's degree in data or AI
  • Deep technical expertise and domain certifications
  • Experience in leading data functions in complex, matrixed organisations
