Customer Data Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Data Strategist to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing our customer experience, analytics and business intelligence capabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in data management, including ETL processes and SQL. As a Customer Data Strategist, you will be responsible for designing and developing data warehouse pipelines, managing data transformation processes to consolidate customer information from various source systems for organisational reporting, mar-tech and personalisation.

• Collaborate with our Commercial, Data & Analytics, and Business teams to design and develop data applications, models, and data marts, with a strong emphasis on enhancing business users' self-service capabilities and driving effective business change management.
• Gather requirements from various data sources to meet business partners' needs and secure necessary data points. Develop and oversee robust data pipelines, ensuring the processing and storage of customer data.
• Drive the development, maintenance, and enhancement of a Single Customer Identity solution, including the aggregation, enrichment, and accurate linking of customer data from various touchpoints to provide a comprehensive, unified model of customers across the various touchpoints.
• You will assist other data and analytics teams such as Data Science to uplift our predictive capabilities and AI/ML Initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining high data quality by collecting, validating, and ensuring data compliance. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new builds. Collaborate with IT and Ops to establish integration endpoints, create proofs-of-concept (POC) for potential solutions, and offer recommendations for data flow and system integration.

• Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP) and ability to leverage cloud-specific features and services effectively.
• Strong understanding of data modelling principles, with experience in designing strong data structures for analytics, marketing and data warehousing.
• Ability to use Python or JavaScript or similar scripting language for automating tasks and enhancing workflows will be advantageous.
• Experience with diverse customer data sets, including membership, loyalty, bookings, point of sale, digital interactions, and surveys, is essential.
• Prior knowledge and experience working with or building Customer Data Platforms or customer identity solutions will be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of Marketing Automation tools, Salesforce CRM, and advertising platforms to support seamless data integration is preferred.
• Experience implementing various integrations and data movement patterns including API's, data cleanrooms, zero copy cloning, SFTP and more is highly advantageous.
