Data Center Operations Specialist

Our organization requires an experienced Data Center Engineering Operations Trainee to manage and maintain our global infrastructure.
This individual will oversee the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all our data centers, ensuring seamless access to innovation for our customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling Data Center Engineering Operations including risk management, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure vendor management and metric reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the management of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with procedures and legislation
- Maintaining performance benchmarks by analyzing data and preparing reports on infrastructure operations and maintenance
- Generating Change Management requests and Incident Management tickets as directed
- Contributing to documentation related to business and facility operations
- Supporting rack installation and power/cooling provisioning within constraints
- Participating in routine maintenance and emergency services on critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS, power distribution, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and monitoring systems
This role contributes to delivering high safety and security standards while providing extensive capacity at minimal cost within an inclusive culture that fosters innovative ideas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data center engineering operations, risk management, and vendor management.
They must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or computer science, is preferred. The candidate should also have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
