Job Title: Data Center Operations Specialist

A challenging and rewarding career opportunity is now available for a motivated individual to join our team as a Data Center Operations Specialist.

About the Role:

This position involves assisting in the management of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure all work performed is in accordance with established practices, procedures & local legislation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the on-site management of critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Maintain performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Generate Change Management requests and Incident Management tickets for DCEO as directed.
  • Learn and contribute to documentation relevant to business and facility operations.
  • Assist with the installation of racks and provision of power/cooling within constraints.
  • Be involved with routine maintenance and emergency services on critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
Requirements:
  • Interest in maintenance of a Data Centre or critical space facility.
  • Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literate, confident with Office Suite.
