Macquarie is a global financial services group operating in 34 markets and with 55 years of unbroken profitability. We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Australian Prudential Obligations team.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across the Commodities and Global Markets group, providing advice and approvals on the application of prudential requirements to transactions and new business activity.

This role requires extensive experience in front-office risk roles or Line 2 oversight in Financial Markets, ideally with expertise in Credit Risk or Market Risk. A strong understanding of financial products and Basel/Australian prudential regulations is also essential.

The ideal candidate will possess effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage various stakeholders for appropriate risk outcomes. They must be able to take complex concepts and present them in a clear compelling manner, demonstrating an intellectually curious mind and critical independent thinking.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $180,000-$220,000, depending on location and experience.
