As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centered quality support services to individuals with disabilities. Your role will involve supporting clients to set and reach goals that are important to them, making decisions about how best to live their lives.

  • You will provide personal/physical care and support to clients, including grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and assistance.

  • You will advocate for and assist clients, their families, and significant people in their lives to access community services and recreational activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need relevant qualifications (Cert IV in Disability or Individual Support), strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of human rights and challenges facing individuals with disabilities.
