Financial Services Role

This is an exciting opportunity to secure a challenging finance position within a dynamic business services environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, group summaries and loan reports for corporate and family groups including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships and Individuals
  • Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns and activity statements
  • Liaison with the ATO in relation to various client matters, e.g. payment arrangements, remissions, extensions etc.
  • Collaboration with other team members where you will work closely with intermediate and senior accountants
  • Utilization of Xero, XPM and FYI documents
  • Liaising with clients and external service providers

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Intention to complete CA/CPA certification
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in public practice accounting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic tax compliance, e.g. returns and statements
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks before decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult with peers
