We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our business services team in Australia.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to provide expert financial advice and guidance to clients and progress to increasing levels of seniority.
About The Job- Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary and loan summary for corporate and family groups including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships and Individuals
- Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns and activity statements
- Communication with the ATO in relation to various client matters, e.g. payment arrangements, remissions, extensions etc.
- Working as part of a team where you will work closely with other intermediate and senior business services accountants
- Use of Xero, XPM and FYI docs
- Liaising with clients and other external service providers
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Intention to complete CA/CPA qualification.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in public practice accounting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic tax compliance, e.g. returns and statements.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess the risks for clients before decision making.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult with peers.
