Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team and contribute to the growth of our organization. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reports.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced finance professional to take on a leadership role and make a meaningful impact on our business. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our General Manager, Strategy & Finance, to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports that meet accounting standards.
  • Oversee month- and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and compliance obligations.
  • Manage and mentor a team of two, ensuring workloads are balanced and performance standards are met.
  • Undertake hands-on finance tasks as required, including coding supplier invoices and assisting with reconciliations.
  • Process payroll and translate complex financial data into clear insights that add measurable value to the business.
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and controls.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years' accounting experience, including exposure to end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Proven experience managing both transactional processes and high-quality financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
  • Leadership experience (ideally with direct reports) and a collaborative approach in small teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
