Senior Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to take their career to the next level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance documents for a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/FBT/payroll tax returns for a broad range of clients from SMEs to large companies
  • Assisting with tax and accounting advice
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Developing and supporting junior team members
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and liaising with clients regarding compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of tax compliance experience within an accounting public practice firm in Australia
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification
  • Experience in handling compliance work such as financial statements, income tax returns, activity statements, and FBT returns
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
