Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Claims Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our claims handling unit, you will be responsible for managing Motor claims from end to end, working across a diverse portfolio that includes both intermediated and direct customers.

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring claims are handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with compliance standards. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve claims in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Accurately assess and manage Motor claims in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
  2. Handle claims efficiently within agreed workflow timeframes and service level agreements (SLAs).
  3. Proactively manage claim lifecycles through diary management and vendor coordination.
  4. Respond to customer complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction with empathy and professionalism.
  5. Manage incoming call enquiries, providing clear and timely support to customers and stakeholders.
  6. Conduct regular claims reviews and assist with overflow claims from other sub-teams as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in Motor claims handling.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to adapt communication to different customer groups.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven time management and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the insurance industry.
  • Experience working with external vendors such as repairers, assessors, and brokers.
