Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to lead our strategic sourcing initiatives for fresh produce categories.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fresh produce markets, grower relationships, and seasonality dynamics, with the ability to balance commercial impact with quality, innovation, and sustainability.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute category plans for fresh produce, ensuring alignment with sourcing strategy and business priorities.
  • Analyse produce seasonality, supply risks, and pricing trends to inform category strategies.
  • Negotiate, onboard, and manage growers and suppliers, ensuring consistent quality and value.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise sourcing outcomes.
  • Lead RFQ/RFP cycles, negotiate long-term agreements, and execute commercial opportunities.
  • Control category spend, achieve COGS reduction targets, and drive long-term procurement savings.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with environmental and packaging standards, while embedding sustainability initiatives.
  • Support NPD and product commercialisation through strategic supplier partnerships.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Business Administration.
  • 5–7 years' experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally within Manufacturing, Retail, or FMCG.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
