As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a pivotal role in creating an inclusive learning environment for students. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting students with speech, language and communication concerns.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with educators and parents to develop the capacity of schools to support students with diverse needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing environmental assessments to identify areas for improvement;
- Collaborating with parents and teachers to plan and implement interventions for students with speech, language and communication concerns;
- Developing strategies to enhance student engagement and participation in the learning process.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A degree in speech pathology from an Australian institution or equivalent qualification;
- Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia;
- Current working knowledge of paediatric speech pathology services.

Requirements:
Corporate-based conditions apply to this position. The applicant must hold or be able to obtain a Working with Children Notice Clearance and an NT driver's licence. Visits to remote schools may necessitate travel by four-wheel drive vehicle on unsealed roads or light aircraft and include overnight stays in remote communities of up to four days. Four-wheel drive training will be provided by the relevant department.
