Job Summary

As an Inclusion Advisor Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for performing environmental assessments with students to identify speech, language and communication concerns that may impact educational outcomes. You will work closely with parents and teachers to develop and implement interventions to support students.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in speech pathology from an Australian institution or equivalent, eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, and current working knowledge of paediatric speech pathology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform environmental assessments with students to identify speech, language and communication concerns
  • Develop and implement interventions to support students
  • Work closely with parents and teachers to ensure successful student outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in speech pathology from an Australian institution or equivalent
  • Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Current working knowledge of paediatric speech pathology services

Working Conditions

This role requires travel to remote schools and communities, including overnight stays. Four-wheel drive training will be provided by the Department of Education.
