Job Title: Site Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced construction leader to oversee daily site operations, ensuring safe and coordinated execution of all works.

The successful candidate will have qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field, and experience in project sequencing, subcontractor coordination and live site operations.

You will lead by example, mentor junior staff and resolve issues in real-time. You must be highly organised, decisive and calm under pressure.

As Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale construction projects safely, on time and to the highest quality.

  • Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Lead site-based delivery in accordance with programme, budget and contract requirements
  • Monitor progress, identify and mitigate potential risks, and address any delays or sequencing issues
  • Maintain adherence to HSEQ standards on site and ensure compliance with statutory regulations
  • Ccoordinate subcontractors and suppliers to meet project milestones
  • Accurately record and maintain site documentation, delivery logs, RFIs and version-controlled information
  • Evaluate subcontractor performance, manage claims and variations, and provide support for contract administration
  • Mentor and support team members, promoting a culture of accountability and collaboration
  • Represent the company professionally in dealings with clients, consultants and external stakeholders
