Outside School Hours Care Coordinator Position

This role provides a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of children in our care. As an Outside School Hours Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote learning, health, and wellbeing in children.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in school age education and care, with experience in leadership roles. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with staff, parents, and the wider community.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing and implementing educational programs that meet the needs of children in our care;
  • Mentoring and supporting a team of educators to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and education;
  • Managing day-to-day operations of the service, including rostering, quality and compliance, and budget management;
  • Liaising with families and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care or Diploma;
  • Minimum 1 year of proven leadership experience in a similar role at a similar-sized service;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to build strong relationships with staff, parents, and the wider community.
