Lead a Brand-New Service in the Heart of Sydney

We are seeking an inspirational leader to spearhead our new After School Care service at St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney.

The successful candidate will bring energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism to:

  • Take charge as the Responsible Person for the service, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and staff.
  • Create a welcoming environment that fosters strong relationships between staff, children, and families.
  • Maintain precise attendance and booking schedules to guarantee child safety and supervision.
  • Empower educators to deliver exceptional care through effective mentoring and leadership.
  • Develop and implement engaging, educational programs enriched by observations and reflective journals.
  • Share children's program achievements with families, promoting strong connections and partnerships.
  • Foster lasting relationships with families and the school community through open communication and collaboration.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering 76 hours per fortnight, providing stability and opportunities for growth.

We seek a dedicated professional who:

  • Holds a qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Has experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
  • Is certified in Child Protection Training.
  • Holds current First Aid Certificates, including CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management.
  • Possesses a valid NSW Working With Children Check.
