Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the operations of a family domestic violence short-term refuge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of refuge practice and service delivery
  • Coordinate delivery of 24 hour service providing emergency accommodation and case management
  • Delivery of operational/local plans aligned to state agenda
  • Supporting property management to ensure good governance
  • Participate in 'on call', after hours and weekend roster as required
  • Ensure continuous quality improvement at regional level
  • Plan for compliance accreditation requirements and support accreditation assessments
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in Social Work or related field
  • Relevant experience, including management experience requirements
  • Experience in active membership in community or government bodies within the sector
  • Significant experience in managing case management and outreach support services - experience in the family violence sector is an advantage
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Relevant State Working with Children's Check
