Job Overview

The General Manager of Analytics & Design and Solutions plays a crucial role in providing strategic insights, implementing efficient processes, and identifying innovative solutions. Reporting to the President Commercial, this position requires a blend of analytical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data insights for Enterprise: Develop and implement a comprehensive insights strategy to enhance visibility into supply chain operations.
  • Innovation/automation – Smart solutions: Identify and implement process improvements through automation and data-driven decision making.
  • DC design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize warehouse layouts and operations.
  • Warehouse efficiencies and solution: Evaluate existing warehouse processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Transport efficiencies and solutions: Analyze transportation data to optimize routes and reduce costs.
  • Process standardisation: Develop and implement standardized processes across the organization.
  • Operational readiness: Ensure seamless integration of new systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or a related field.
  • 15+ years' experience in supply chain management with a focus on insights, efficiencies, and solutions.
  • Experience with supply chain technologies including ERP systems, data analytical tools, and automation solutions.
  • Proven track record of driving process optimisation and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
