Performance Improvement Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and business performance reporting that drive financial and operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Performance Insights: Provide timely analysis and commentary on departmental and category performance, including underlying loss, supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
  • Drive Performance Improvement: Offer strategic support and lead key forecasting and planning processes to enhance financial and operational performance.
  • Optimize End-to-End Performance: Collaborate with stakeholders to improve overall performance and decision-making.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Identify, implement, and lead process enhancements within the finance team and across the business, ensuring data integrity.
  • Foster Team Collaboration: Actively engage in team development, sharing best practices and maintaining robust financial processes and controls.
  • Cultivate Strong Relationships: Build effective working relationships across various teams and navigate change to achieve individual and team goals.
Requirements
  • CPA / CA qualified experience or equivalent experience preferable with multinational FMCG or retail experience preferred.
  • Able to communicate complex financial information in a simple manner including presentation and storyboarding skills.
  • Sound organisational and effective time management skills including ability to navigate uncertainty, conflicting demands and shifting priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • Ability to work flexibly and with agility.
  • Experienced using and navigating large data sets to support key messages including simplifying the complex within reporting. Advanced financial modelling skills and experience with SQL, GCP and Tableau are preferred.
