The Opportunity

Specialist Solutions is part of the Business & Agri Division yet works across divisions to deliver outcomes to Business, Rural and Local customers and bankers. This business unit also contributes to wider group needs via its important role in funding the group through its deposit raising activities - wholesale and customer.

We currently have an opportunity for an Analyst Reporting and Analysis to join this team in Brisbane, Melbourne, Bendigo or Adelaide. Some of the accountabilities you will have in this role are:
Producing reports specific to the Specialist Solutions business
Sourcing and collating data from systems such as Quantum, LLAS and other business specific systems
Analysis of customer and business flows to create insight into trends, growth opportunities, and areas of business that could be refined
Engaging with other reporting functions within the group to ensure Specialist Solutions customers and offerings are correctly and fully represented through other bank reporting systems - eg Power Bi - supported by Specialist Solutions Leadership
Engaging with other reporting functions within the group to extract relevant customer and other data for business and analysis - supported by Specialist Solutions Leadership
Analysis of daily business unit reporting, such as profit and loss and balance sheet reporting
Shadow reporting of product and customer offerings from across the group for Specialist Solutions functions such as Transactional Banking, Trade and Equipment Finance.

Annual planning and monthly forecasting will also form part of the function in this role.

About You

To succeed, you will need to be an experienced data analyst with a strong track record of senior stakeholder engagement. A few of the skills sets we are looking for are:
Advanced data management and manipulation
Working knowledge of PowerBi or similar
Advanced spreadsheet skills and other data management systems
Financial acumen - understanding performance and business drivers
Reporting and the ability to source and collate data
Stakeholder engagement and management across senior leadership teams
