Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Warrigal. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for developing and delivering educational programs to support the clinical development of our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical education programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to identify education needs and develop targeted training programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to support their professional development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in clinical education.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practice Regulatory Agency (AHPRA).
  • Current or working towards Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to coach, mentor, and support staff.
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with aged care standards and regulations.
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills, and prioritisation in order to complete tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional and career development opportunities.
