High-Paying Heavy Equipment Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Field Service Technician to join our Cairns branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of earthmoving, construction, and material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities- Detection and diagnosis of mechanical and electrical faults in engines and components.
- Performing dismantling, repairing, and reassembling of mechanical components using service manuals.
- Conducting scheduled maintenance services.
- Trade Certificate in Heavy Equipment or the Automotive Industry (mandatory).
- Valid Australian driver's license (mandatory).
- Automotive Air Conditioning license (desirable).
- Auto Electrical experience and diagnostic skills (desirable).
- MR, Forklift, EWP, plant, and LPG licenses (desirable).
- Experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in hydraulics and electrical circuits (desirable).
The successful candidate can expect an hourly rate of approximately $45-$60 per hour, commensurate with experience and skills. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
