Job Overview
- The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale technology projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- This includes managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks, as well as facilitating and leading Steering Committees to ensure clear communication and governance.
About the Role
- The successful candidate will play a dual role: delivering strategic technology projects and managing a team of Project Managers, reporting directly to the Manager Project Delivery Practice.
- They will provide leadership, structure, and guidance to ensure that projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to the highest quality standards while ensuring alignment with relevant frameworks and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead assigned technology projects from initiation to deployment, overseeing scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver outstanding project outcomes.
- Prepare and present regular reports to key stakeholders, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or similar (mandatory).
- Project Management certifications in both traditional and Agile methods.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale projects on time and to budget.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management experience, with proficiency in MS Project Online, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office suite.
