Regional Learning Expert

This role is a key position in supporting statewide delivery of educational services to schools and networks. The focus is on regional collaboration and the improvement of educational outcomes.
The successful candidate will provide high-level teaching expertise, with a track record of excellence in secondary education. They will deliver engaging and relevant curriculum to students, while also sharing their knowledge with less experienced teachers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Teach senior secondary students enrolled through the School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE), focusing on ATAR English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS).
- Deliver face-to-face tuition and provide guidance on curriculum development.
- Collaborate with regional staff to ensure statewide integration of support to schools and students through regional networks.
Requirements:
- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number from the Department of Education's Screening Unit.
