Lead Drainage Engineer Role

This leadership opportunity involves designing and executing stormwater drainage projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, as well as experience in mentoring and guiding a team of engineers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and leading stormwater drainage projects across various market sectors.
  • Mentoring and guiding the drainage team to achieve project goals.
  • Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver design packages independently.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions.
  • Developing business development strategies to identify new opportunities and pursue them aggressively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience as a civil/drainage engineer, preferably with multidisciplinary work.
  • Strong hydrologic and hydraulic analysis skills, including proficiency in tools like 12D, DRAINS, RORB, and TUFLOW.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Certifications such as CPEng and/or RPEQ/RPEV are highly desirable.
