About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Delivery Project Cost Manager to drive efficiency and consistency in the delivery of Sydney's most iconic infrastructure project.

This key role will assist in the management of the cost function, preparing, monitoring and controlling project cost plans and budgets as approved by the NSW Government.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing complex project cost plans and systems for multi-discipline projects.
  • Developing realistic and robust cost forecasts to support cashflow evaluations for all project phases.
  • Preparation of monthly cost reports to analyse the project's current and future performance and cost trends.
  • Reviewing and providing assurance of cost estimates prepared by others.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in cost management procedures and processes, including WBS/CBS, monthly cost reporting, project change control, budget management, forecasting, and financial support.

You will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop a sound understanding of project/package scope, construction contract structure and requirements, forecast and budget.

Preferred qualifications include PMI, Prince2 certifications or rail industry experience.
