Role Overview

As a Strategic Project Lead at Macquarie, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects within the Operational Risk division. These projects are critical to the division's success and will be executed in alignment with the Risk Management Group's Project and Change Delivery Framework.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and develop project plans.
  • Lead a team of project professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the project's integrity and quality.
  • Develop and implement effective project communication plans to ensure stakeholders are informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience as a Senior Project Manager within the Financial services industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge, including experience of managing systems implementations and releases.
  • Experience in the Operational Risk domain and good working knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance systems.
  • Demonstrable experience using agile tools and techniques, e.g., managing flow of work using JIRA and facilitating agile ceremonies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a straightforward manner.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work efficiently with diverse stakeholders.
