Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing service contracts, creating language standards, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Preparation: Prepare service contracts templates, create language standards for existing and new contracts.
  • Contract Administration: Prepare contractual documentation for clients, based on agreed terms, time frames, financial terms, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners and clients.
  • Communication: Explain terms and conditions to managers and interested parties.
  • Risk Management: Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms, identify errors, and make necessary changes.
  • Deadline Management: Ensure all deadlines and conditions described in contracts are met (e.g., payments and shipping).
  • Record Keeping: Maintain an organized system of physical and digital records.
  • Third-Party Administration: Administer contracts with third-party business partners, such as customs agents and courier companies.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A minimum of Diploma or higher in Business, Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: At least two years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
  • Skills: Strong contract management skills, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for explaining contract terms and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail, risk management, and problem-solving abilities are crucial for identifying and mitigating potential issues.
  • Organizational Skills: Organizational and time management skills are needed to handle multiple contracts and deadlines effectively.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office.
