About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care services to clients in their homes and communities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance to clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as shopping, meal preparation, and personal care
  • Provide respite care to carers, including overnight respite
  • Support clients with accessing community facilities and appointments
  • Assist with household chores and daily living tasks

Requirements:

  • Strong desire to provide quality service and build relationships with clients
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Highly professional and compassionate demeanor
  • Previous experience working with older clients and/or clients with disabilities
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Valid driver's license and own transport vehicle with insurance
  • Minimum availability of 3 days per week
  • COVID-19 vaccination in line with Victorian Government Public Health Directions

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability Care
  • Knowledge and experience in a similar industry or position
  • Fluency in a second language
