Role Overview
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care services tailored to the unique needs of our clients. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at assisting clients in maintaining their independence at home and engaging with their community. Support may be provided in clients' residences or within community settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients in accessing community resources and appointments.
- Provide general respite care for family caregivers, including occasional overnight support.
- Support clients with daily activities such as shopping.
- Deliver quality personal care, including assistance with bathing and dressing.
- Help with household tasks and daily living activities, including meal preparation.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- A genuine passion for delivering quality service and the ability to foster connections and build relationships with clients.
- Flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
- Professional demeanor with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
- Previous experience working with elderly clients and/or individuals with disabilities.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Current CPR certification (minimum 3 months until expiry) and First Aid certification (minimum 12 months until expiry).
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with insurance.
- Availability for a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Vaccination against COVID-19 in accordance with public health directives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Care, or higher.
- Experience in a related field or position.
- Proficiency in a second language.
Shortlisting will begin as applications are received. Candidates must be eligible to work in Australia. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply.
