About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Annecto, a not-for-profit social purpose organisation. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care services to our clients, supporting them to live independently and access their community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as shopping, meal preparation, and personal care;
  • Provide respite care for carers, including overnight respite when needed;
  • Support clients to access community facilities and appointments;
  • Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry;
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients;
Requirements
  • A strong desire to provide quality care and support to clients;
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations;
  • Highly professional and able to act in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner;
  • Previous experience working with older clients and/or clients with disabilities;
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check;
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications;
  • Current driver's license and own transport vehicle with insurance;
  • Minimum availability of 3 days per week;
  • Must have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in line with the Victorian Government Public Health Directions.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability Care;
  • Knowledge and experience in a similar industry or position;
  • Fluency in a second language.
