About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care services to clients in their homes and communities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance to clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as personal care, household chores, and meal preparation.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Assist clients with accessing community facilities and appointments, ensuring they receive the support they need to maintain their independence.
  • Provide respite care to carers, giving them a much-needed break and allowing them to recharge.

Requirements:

  • A strong desire to provide quality service and make a positive impact in the lives of others.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly professional and compassionate, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience working with older clients and/or clients with disabilities.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Current driver's license and own transport vehicle with insurance.
  • Minimum availability of 3 days per week.
