About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team at YMCA Ballarat. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for processing and managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data, maintaining high levels of attention to detail
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities and deadlines
