Accounts Payable Specialist

Randstad partners with various organisations across the Ballarat and Central Highlands region, offering a range of permanent and temporary vacancies. As an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable professional, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and gain valuable experience in the finance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
- Manage payment schedules and process electronic transfers.
- Reconcile AP ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to vendor queries and maintain organised financial records.
- Manage invoicing, payment collections, and customer account reconciliations.
- Follow up on outstanding debts and handle payment inquiries.
- Prepare regular AR reports, including ageing and cash flow reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounts payable and/or receivable roles.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency with accounting/finance software.
- Strong communication skills for handling both vendor and customer queries.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
