Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Transport Operations Leader to lead our team in the transport industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Dangerous Goods industry and Heavy Vehicle National Law, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage transportation operations at customer sites, prioritizing service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Foster a safety-focused culture, emphasizing team well-being and collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, building strong relationships and facilitating collaboration.
  • Plan and prioritize tasks to meet operational goals under pressure, driving continuous improvements within the site.
  • Solve problems efficiently, addressing challenges while maintaining focus on site success and team performance.
  • Exhibit a can-do attitude, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve their best results.
About the Role

The successful Transport Operations Leader will possess strong leadership experience in the transport industry, excellent computer skills, and a solid grasp of profit and loss management.

They will be able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities.

Key Qualifications
  • Strong leadership experience in the transport industry, with knowledge of the Dangerous Goods industry and HVNL regulations.
  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with relevant software.
  • Understanding of P&L statements and financial management, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, build strong relationships, and facilitate collaboration.
