Established in 1891, our organisation includes the Museum at Inveresk and The Art Gallery at Royal Park and is custodian to over one and a half million objects of national and international significance.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Projects Coordinator to join our team. As part of our management structure, you will work closely with the General Manager Creative Arts and Cultural Services to lead the development and delivery of identified Organisational Strategic Projects (OSPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial and operational planning and implementation strategies for OSPs
  • Lead the transition of governance and strategic project/program delivery
  • Establish robust organisational frameworks and operational models relevant to the cultural institution business environment
  • Maintain a strong understanding of cultural policy, strategic direction, and objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications or substantial experience in a related field
  • Demonstrated achievement in delivering major projects, strategic development, and organisational programs
  • Strong leadership and change management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

What We Offer

A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
