
Client Onboarding Specialist

As a Client Onboarding Specialist, you will play a critical role in the smooth onboarding of clients across various product lines. Your key responsibilities will include trade allocation, matching and confirmation, as well as settlements management.
You will work closely with the business and operations teams to assess market changes and present impacts and recommendations. This will involve identifying opportunities for improvement in settlement efficiency and control, understanding internal and external regulations, and analyzing and resolving exceptions.
The role requires strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work in a high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trade allocation, matching and confirmation
- Settlements management, including prematching, inventory management and fail investigations
- Assess market changes and present impacts, recommendations to the business and Operations Management
- Identify opportunities for improvements of settlement efficiency & control
- Understand internal and external regulations
- Analyze and resolve exceptions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- General knowledge of cash equity/fixed income/Derivative products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – essential for interacting at all levels, across business disciplines and regions
- Self-motivated, driven and strong team player
- Strong technical / analytical / problem solving skills
- Time management and ability to multi-task in a high pressure environment;
- Accuracy and attention to detail essential
- Competency with MS Suite, especially Excel, automation and the ability to learn multiple programs quickly
