Job Title: Junior Health Safety Environment Coordinator

Our client is a leader in building commercial projects from concept through to completion. They are established in the Inner Sydney Suburbs and deliver projects across Sydney valued up to and in excess of $50m - $500m.

Due to organic growth and their continued success, our client has an excellent opportunity for a Junior Health Safety Environment Coordinator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of health and safety plans for multiple projects across Sydney Metro
  • Ensure all sites are compliant with current Quality regulations
  • Provide training and advice to team members and subcontractors on health and safety best practices
  • Conduct reviews and risk analysis to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies
  • Investigate incidents and report findings to management

Requirements:

  • Minimum Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety
  • 12+ months experience in an HSE role within the Commercial New Build construction industry
  • Previous experience working for a head contractor is essential
  • Strong understanding of latest OH&S legislation and regulations
