As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for servicing our client base and seeking new opportunities in the industrial weighing sector.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our Weighing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our accelerated bonus scheme, with a generous base salary, car allowance, company laptop, and mobile phone provided. Your role will involve growing sales opportunities, developing new businesses, and maintaining client relationships as we expand.
- Establish strong relationships with new customers to achieve your personal sales budget through prospecting, cold calling, following up on referrals/web leads, and setting up appointments with key decision-makers.
- Achieve targets for sales revenue, gross profit, and sales activity as set by your manager.
- Actively develop relationships and sales opportunities with new and existing customers from both company-provided and self-generated leads, including working with other sales team members to formulate tender responses within time frames.
- Stay up-to-date with competitor and industry activity, and incorporate this data into your sales process.
- Develop in-depth product knowledge to sell and make recommendations to prospects and clients on customised solutions that best meet their needs.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, and strong accuracy and attention to detail in completing and following through on all aspects of the sales process.
- Experience in a capital sales role/role which sold a technical range of products and solutions, with ongoing relationships with various industries that supply or distribute FMCG, Capital Equipment. Engineering backgrounds are desirable.
- Ability to use CRM, Dynamics365, and Microsoft Word - highly advantageous.
