Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, providing tailored occupational therapy services, and developing community-based health and wellness programs.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized plans for intervention.
  • Provide expert advice on activities of daily living, home modifications, and equipment prescription to ensure optimal independence.
  • Design and implement engaging health and wellness programs that cater to diverse client needs and interests.
  • Collaborate with allied health professionals, community workers, and clients to achieve shared goals and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress, referrals, and program evaluations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in occupational therapy with postgraduate experience.
  • Current AHPRA registration and industry-recognized certification in occupational therapy.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality occupational therapy services in a community setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Proficiency in technology, including electronic documentation systems and software applications relevant to occupational therapy practice.
  • A current driver's license and access to a registered motor vehicle.
