Job Overview

Our organization seeks a seasoned data governance expert to design and implement comprehensive data security solutions for leading companies. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with clients to define and execute tailored data security strategies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and deploying data classification, retention, and compliance policies using Microsoft Purview. Expertise in automation workflows and proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python are also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy data governance solutions leveraging Microsoft Purview to ensure seamless data classification, retention, and compliance.
  • Develop automation workflows using PowerShell or Python to streamline data governance processes.
  • Integrate data security and compliance features with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft Information Protection (MIP).
  • Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits, and optimize Purview policies and configurations to enhance overall security posture.
  • Work closely with clients to define and implement data security strategies and provide guidance on best practices.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with data classification, sensitivity labeling, insider risk management, and retention policies.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance, and Azure governance tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or automation tools for policy enforcement.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Zero Trust security models.
  • Familiarity with industry compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, and Essential Eight.
  • Experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms, identity governance, and security operations is a plus.
