We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Purview Technical Consultant to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in data security, governance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Governance and Compliance: Design and deploy Microsoft Purview solutions to ensure seamless data classification, retention, and compliance.
  • Solution Development: Develop automation workflows using PowerShell, Python, or APIs to streamline governance processes.
  • Security Posture Enhancement: Align Purview with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) to enhance security postures.
  • Risk Management and Optimization: Conduct risk assessments, compliance audits, and ongoing optimization of Purview policies and configurations.
  • Customer Support and Guidance: Work closely with clients to define data security strategies and provide guidance on best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Data Classification and Sensitivity Labeling: Hands-on experience with data classification, sensitivity labeling, insider risk management, and retention policies.
  • Microsoft Purview Expertise: Expertise in Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance, and Azure governance tools.
  • Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or automation tools for scripting and policy enforcement.
  • Security Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), DLP (Data Loss Prevention), and Zero Trust security models.
  • Industry Compliance: Familiarity with industry compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, Essential Eight, etc.).
  • SIEM/SOAR Platforms: Experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms, identity governance, and security operations is a plus.
