
Master Workshop Leader

As a key member of our team, the Foreperson is responsible for overseeing the workshop and ensuring that technicians have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and guide the workshop team in their daily tasks to guarantee maximum productivity.
- Optimize workshop space and resource allocation in collaboration with senior management to meet customer demands.
- Work closely with service department employees to assign jobs and work areas based on individual skill sets and knowledge.
- Participate in equipment repairs, review repair orders for accuracy, and lead diagnosis of machine issues.
- Inspect and maintain special tools, recommend new tooling as required, and provide expert advice on customer complaints.
- Coordinate technician training sessions, assist with safety meetings, and cover for senior management in their absence.
- Arrange for reconditioning used equipment, set up new equipment, approve equipment releases, and provide performance feedback to team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Service Technician.
- Ability to lead others, communicate effectively through written and verbal means, and utilize standard desktop applications like Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with leading manufacturers and their products.
- High School Diploma or equivalent relevant experience.
