
Machinery Leader

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a team and mentoring individuals to achieve their full potential. As a leader in our Service Department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our technicians have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
The following tasks and responsibilities are included:
- Mentor and monitor the workshop team to ensure they have opportunities to develop their skills.
- Assist in the appraisal of repair orders coming into the Service Department and may participate in repairs.
- Direct and assist in the diagnosis of machine problems of technicians and apprentices.
- Inspect and repair all special tools. Recommend new tooling as required.
- Advise management of all customer complaints.
- Coordinate and schedule all in-house technician training.
- Assist with coordinating and conducting quarterly safety meetings.
- May fill a leadership role in absence.
- May arrange for and participate in reconditioning used equipment and setting up new equipment.
We are seeking an individual who is experienced in service operations and has excellent leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machinery and be able to communicate effectively with technicians and customers.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in service operations.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to mentor others.
- Familiarity with machinery and technical aspects of service operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
